It’s snowing in Vernon today, big beautiful white flakes of snow it’s a chilly -7° but feels a lot colder than the dry -20’s of Calgary. Here  in the Okanagan Valley the cold seems to seep into your bones  so we have been adding a lot more layers to our daily attire!

We’ve enjoyed many fun events over the week we have spent here, heading out to the Hot Air Balloon festival, Winter Parade, Snow carving up at Silverstar Ski Resort and a drive through some of the beautiful valleys by the river at sunset!

We are loving getting to know this new town and area and hove some big adventure plans in the works, stay tuned!
