Day 19

Today started with the drive from Pismo Beach down to stay in Oxnard for the night, not much was  planned for this day so we hit the shops for a bit, hitting Best buy first with the intention of buying a lot of cheap electronics. They unfortunately did not have the 64G tablet we wanted (only a 32G) and we wondered if we waited and bundled all the things we wanted together if we would get a better price. Leaving best buy we hit up Nordstrom Rack, this store is awesome with a lot of discounted brand wear, but just so much to look at it gave me a headache! I headed next door to Tj Max and again had the same problem, there is just so much to sort through to find a good deal, I did buy 3 things but in same amount of time in Australia I probably could have done a lot better and I find this quite frustrating! It’s also quite hard to shop when I know Greg is sitting bored out of his brain somewhere this makes me feel so guilty.

We tried another buffet place for lunch (I think it was called Home Town Buffet) it worked out to about $23 for both of us. This place was still great value but had a very small selection of food and the quality was not there compared to Chuck – a – Rama. It was really nice to be able to load up on salad bar though, as that is something that’s hard to get fast in this country!

Before heading to our hotel we drove down to check out Malibu beach (so as to skip past it tomorrow) but could not find a free park anywhere! Nothing under $10 and we weren’t stopping for long enough to justify the money, a little disappointed  we drove past and looked at the coastline making our way back to check in to our hotel.

Oxnard is the shifftyiest place we have stayed so we made sure all valuables were safe inside with us haha, for a pretty tired outside, the inside of our room was okay, a little grungy but with a massive tv and decent bathroom… it worked as again it was only for one night.

About time for food we drove down to the close by shopping centre and went back into Walmart it just so happened they had tablet we were looking for in 64G and a great price! This put us in a great mood for the evening! As there was not much around to eat Burger King it was again, this time I tried an Oreo shake and oh my goodness it was amazing!

We finished the night off relaxing again, setting up our new toy and me catching up all my blogs! Oh and watching our massive tv.
